CINEMATIC DESIGN

We have an extensive background in creating and working on choice-based cinematics. We can build non-linear content and help develop the systems to go with it.

REAL-TIME

Using Sequencer and the assets already in your project, we can create shots and design scenes directly in-engine. Real-time allows us to maintain continuity from the dynamic elements in the game and present them in cutscenes, such as player customization and inventory.

PRE-RENDERED

Using the same real-time workflows, we can create shots for use in marketing assets and trailers by pre-rendering footage from Sequencer and editing it together offline. If game continuity isn't a priority, this method is also valid for in-game cinematics that use video playback in-engine.

PREVISUALIZATION

We create previsualization for cinematics directly in-engine, working with your engineers or designers to implement it in-game for early assessment. This will allow you to quickly evaluate the narrative-flow and overall experience in-engine before committing to a fully realized product.

WORKFLOW ADVISORY

We have amassed a wealth of knowledge in cinematic and game production. Let us share our knowledge and collaborate with your team on how best to integrate your systems for in-editor cinematic content creation and implementation.

SEQUENCER CREATION AND ORGANIZATION

Once animation data is exported and ready to be put in-game, we will set-up all necessary cinematic assets, including Level Sequences and discipline-specific Subsequences, and prepare them for game hook-up and offline review.

ANIMATION INTEGRATION

We will ensure that cameras, depth of field, characters, and props are all correctly animating and matching with DCC upon initial integration and each update. We will also validate compatibility with Animation Blueprints.

SCENE MAINTENANCE AND BUG FIXING

We will maintain the Sequencer assets, help isolate any issues, and create test gyms when necessary. We will work with your engineers, designers, and QA team to ensure that cinematics remain functional and playable in-game.
